The BTS CommsWare VoIP Console at CSC Forss

CSC needed an operator console solution that could be flexibly deployed and not tied to close proximity to the PBX.
With a roll-out of VoIP telephony in progress, the new solution had to work with both legacy and VoIP technologies to protect the investment already made.
The BTS CommsWare VoIP Console was chosen as it offered flexible deployment, integrated with other solutions including the Cisco Call Manager, and shared the SQL database with the existing BTS call logging.
Hugh MacDonald was pleased to confirm that the move to the CommsWare Console enabled the operators to integrate more effectively with the service desk team with an outcome of more flexible use of the operators to strengthen the services provided by the wider CSC support team at Forss.
